Why Some People Fail in Jobs: The Role of Career Management

Agenda

Dan Moran has worked with thousands in the midst of career transition over several years as well as companies determined to improve the quality of hires. He has learned why some people make it in a new role, and why others do not – often a surprise and of course, a setback for a company in morale, performance, costs and ability to grow. In this presentation, Dan will present:
• Why people don’t make it on-the-job or in the organization
• Understanding imperative elements of job fit and how to assess fit to a job or career: Personality, Interests, “Reality”
• The critical difference between job hunting and career management
• Understanding how to apply career management methodologies in your current career for growth and advancement
• Tools and resources to make better decisions in hiring and your own career
